Petén: Finca Ixobel Hotel Ecológico, Poptún
Finca Ixobel Hotel Ecológico is a working farm that is also a guesthouse and campground, with restaurant and bakery. The guesthouse is located 5 Kilometers south of Poptún in the department of Petén, in a beautiful pine forest surrounded by jungle. It lies in the foothills of the Maya Mountains at an elevation of 600 m.

Secluded in its own jungle garden on Lake Peten Itza, this beautiful hotel is less than 15 minutes from the entrance to Tikal Park and 25 min. from Flores. Our clean modern bungalows and rooms have fan, double bed, and tile bath. Most have hot water. None have A/C. Nearly all have hammocks on the veranda.
